Lyle Beniga is coming home. It has been years since Lyle has taught in DC - but now - on January 15 - he is coming back to teach - equipped with a mission.
This workshop is about more than just dancing - it is about helping the recent victims of Hurricane Sedong in the Phillipines. Lyle will be donating his portion of the profits to a foundation benefiting those in most need.

These dancers embody everything that represents dance. Their passionate attitude drove them to work 17+ hours straight to get this video accomplished. Some dancers traveled from afar to shoot this video, then traveled back home right after because they were scheduled to work. Not only are our dancers devoted, our Media Team put in their time and energy to make sure our video was quality.
Because of their ruthless dedication, KODACHROME was well represented in this amazing opportunity to expose dance and recognize our talented dance community.
KODACHROME is by no means a dance crew. It is a dance workshop series and dance community based in the Commonwealth of Virginia and has recently expanded to North Carolina. The dancers and choreographers in the video each represent several crews and dance companies.

Opportunity If KODACHROME wins, the dancers in this video get to take classes from choreographers of a high caliber. Based out of L.A., Movement Lifestyle is a premier full service choreography management company who represents upcoming and established artists. They focus on creating ways to expose their art using media, production, music and dance. Normally, a dancer on the East Coast would have to travel to California to take their classes. Now that Movement Lifestyle has given us the opportunity to learn from their artists through this tour, please help give our dancers the opportunity to learn from their well known, extremely talented and knowledgeable individuals who represent movement as a lifestyle.
Representation Virginia is not known as the first thing you think of when it comes to dance. KODACHROME strives to change that mentality; not only for VA but for any area that is cultivating and developing a talented dance community. We want to give credit where credit’s due. Through this video submission and contest, VA will be well-represented through individuals who came together for the sole purpose of dance.
Exposure The dancers and choreographers in this video are from several crews and dance companies throughout the DMV (D.C., Maryland, VA) area. If KODACHROME wins, Movement Lifestyle will recognize these individuals which means the KODACHROME dance community is recognized as a whole.
